- VeChain has announced a strategic partnership with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
- The partnership saw the creation of the protocol’s next Whitepaper with a focus on sustainability.
In yet another mega move, VeChain has announced its partnership with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), an American Management Consulting firm to help drive its worldwide sustainability agenda. VeChain took to its Twitter handle to unveil the partnership which was initially revealed at its just concluded HiVe Event.

In the days leading to the HiVe Event, VeChain promised its community that it is going to be making a number of important announcements. As a worldwide renowned multibillion-dollar company, the BCG linkup has been tagged as one of the most promising for the firm, reinforcing its branding as one of the most versatile enterprise-grade blockchain protocols in the world.
The partnership featured the creation of the new VeChain Whitepaper, which detailed where it was at, where it is now, and where it is going in the near future.
VeChain and BCG lays emphasis on sustainability in new Whitepaper
VeChain is positioning itself to serve as the reference blockchain for the 21st century as it looks to drive sustainable solutions using the power of blockchain technology. A major action plan is what it has put into practice with the BCG partnership. The Whitepaper reads;

According to the VeChain Whitepaper, the protocol will drive individual sustainability to new heights by introducing easy-to-implement solutions within municipalities. For instance, the VeChain protocol will encourage the donation of foods that are set to expire to a food bank in a bid to reduce food wastage.
VeChain’s core focus for its third iteration is to empower its community to make informed decisions that can help bolster its overall sustainability efforts.
