Azuki in Trouble as Official Twitter Account Hacked

Socios.com, the leading fan token platform, is offering football fans the chance to collect game-scored balls as NFTs, with the first such items featuring in the Super Cup final match between AC Milan and Inter Milan that took place on January 18.

Each goal-scoring ball will be set aside by match officials, and later fitted with an ‘NFC’ chip, which will serve as a certificate of authentication. Then, it will be available for fans to win through Fan Rewards by entering a reverse auction.

Since its inception, Socios.com has set out to improve how fans interact with their respective sports. The game-scored ball is the first of its collectibles, which aim to change the way fans collect game-used memorabilia.

Now, fans have a chance to collect a genuine match-day souvenir. As mentioned earlier, the collectible will be fitted with an NFC chip, thus turning it into an NFT. The data regarding the ball will be recorded on the Chiliz blockchain, allowing anyone to track its ownership, and in turn help eradicate the existence of counterfeit products that have plagued the collectors’ market over the years.

What You Need to Collect Game-Scored Balls As NFTs

The requirements to participate are simple: You need a Socios.com account plus 100 fan tokens of either AC Milan or Inter Milan to participate in the reverse auction of each game-scored ball. Also, you will need 600,000 SSU tokens to help you redeem the Fan Reward. That said, “the reverse auction will kick off at a fixed number of SSUs, which then drops by 25,000 SSUs every 5 minutes.”

SSU is the native, non-tradable, token of Socios.com, which users can earn via interacting with the ecosystem. Essentially, by completing such tasks as downloading the app, creating an account, predicting match scores, voting on team polls, and engaging with the platform.
